But to my surprised it not up to a month that the phone was released that the root of Nokia android phones was released to the internet. I was quiet surprised to see it and that why am posting it right here and now, so in case you are planning you get one or you owed one already it can really be rooted easily and without a computer which makes the process totally awesome and stress free. We are going to be using the popular rooting software or android app called Framaroot which is well known when it comes to android phones rooter, it quick, easy and very reliable and also in addition to help in the process we need GApps. Now you will be wondering why root a new launched Nokia android device, hmmmn let me tell you. Nokia in their own way created a modified edition of the android and makes it impossible for it user to download Android apps from Google playstore and also removing anything relating to Google

The boring thing is that Nokia created their own playstore but only few apps are available:( , thereby leaving its users hungry for apps and that why you need to root your Nokia X, X+ and XL, So why don’t you grab your Nokia android device either X, X+, XL and lets get it rooted

We need to download these files down, either through computer and then transfer it to your phone or through your phone directly.

2. GApps Package

Down to business proper, how to root Nokia X, XL and XL by yourself using these amazing apps mentioned above. I guess you have download the apps which download link have been mentioned above.

after downloading them to enable ” Unknown Sources“

Open your file manager and locate the “Framaroot.apk” file you have downloaded and install it on your Nokia device.

Launch the Framaroot which you just installed and install the “SuperSU” and reboot your Nokia device when you are done installing.

Part 2: How to Install GApps on Nokia X, X+ & XL

The second file you download from the link above which is the GApps, extract the .apk file to your android phone but if its already their then extract it on your phone like you did for the Framaroot above.

Now download anyone of these file explorers from playstore Root Explorer App or File Explorer free app or you can download it from the link and install on your device.

With the help of these explorer which you have downloaded, extract the GApps.apk file to the “/System/App” and change the permission using the image below to guide you on how to.

Restart your Nokia android device and go through where you saved the GApps and install them. and you are done.

you can now go to your Google play store app and sign in with your existing Google account and if you don’t have one then you can simply create a new google account. Once you are signed in you can now download as much many apps as you want . Enjoy!
